Saturday was my first run in costume! Thanks to Theresa Marcum for her donation and sponsoring me! Her choice of fairy wings made for a very fun 20-miler. I must say I don't think I have ever talked to so many people on a run or received so much encouragement. It was great to hear comments like, "You go girl!", "I love your wings!, "Here come the wings again!", and "I just have to ask....what are the wings for?". It was a great opportunity to share my fundraising efforts and the mission of Girls on the Run with so many people! I can't wait to see what the next month of runs has in store for me!
